EAMON DUNPHY, the outspoken TV and radio pundit, has urged people to vote Sinn Féin “to send Brussels a defiant message” over the banks, the IMF and Irish sovereignty.
Describing Election 2011 as “the most important election of our lifetime”, he wrote in The Dunphy Filescolumn in the Irish Daily Star last Saturday:
“This election is about deciding whether we continue to support the established political order or reject it by voting for real change. There is only one way we can do that.
Vote for Independents and Sinn Féin and reject Fianna Fáil, Fine Gael, Labour and the Greens.
This would send a signal to those in Brussels who would humiliate us further.”
Dunphy said that Labour has been the greatest disappointment in this campaign, blaming in part the influence of “Euro fanatic” Ruairí Quinn in the Labour leadership.
